PASS GAME ANALYSIS
Cedric Tillman is a big-bodied WR that can box out defenders where he gains leverage to attack the catch point. He does a great job of combining his strength, speed, and ball-tracking ability to win routes. Tillman is a hands catcher who uses his length to outstretch defenders in tight spaces making difficult catches. He is a solid route runner who will need to continue diversifying his route tree at the NFL level. After the catch, he is a strong, agile runner in space. Improving Hand usage and footwork to get off of jams at the line of scrimmage will be critical.
RUN GAME ANALYSIS
In the run game, Tillman is competitive. He is a willing blocker. Tennessee didn't deploy him as a runner or use him with jet action, an area he could undoubtedly be tasked with in the NFL due to his size and speed profile.
FINAL REPORT
While at Tennessee, Tillman topped 1000 yards in 2021. In 2022, he battled through an ankle injury, but when available, he was productive. His size and athleticism profile are alluring. How he performs at the Senior Bowl and the NFL Combine could elevate his draft stock.
