FINAL REPORT
Devonte Wyatt is a four-year player who has benefited from the elite level of defensive coaching while in Athens. Wyatt is a solid 3-tech, a gap penetrating defender who possesses good speed and athleticism at 6-3 315lbs. He is great against the run but has shown some weakness against power running teams.
As a pass rusher, Wyatt is very good at shooting the gaps and being disruptive. He plays with a good motor and combines solid hand usage and hand strength. He has some positional flexibility, he will be a 3-tech in the NFL but can play the 0, and he has experience playing on the edge.
Wyatt has good awareness, and he combines good instincts with athleticism. He rarely gets out leveraged due to a lack of awareness. He has a knack for recognizing post-snap screens and shows good lateral mobility chasing ball carriers from inside out.
