It feels like forever ago when Conner replaced Lev Bell in 2018, where he recorded 286 opportunities to do business (combined catches and rush att) and a 5.1 yds per touch average. Since then, Conner has averaged a decent 4.5 yds per att but has battled several injuries playing in 62% of games in 2019 and 81% in 2020. He averages 75% of games played in the last three seasons. James Conner is one hell of a story; he battled and defeated cancer while in school at Pitt. He fought back to play college football again. If he can stay healthy, he will be a good player wherever he lands. He will fit better in a shared backfield where he can limit wear and tear.
