PLAYSTYLE & SCHEME FIT
C.J. Allen is one of the fastest-rising linebacker prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft class, boasting sideline-to-sideline range, explosive burst, and an outstanding tackling profile. A former All-SEC Freshman, Allen has started since his first year at Georgia and has proven to be a reliable playmaker with high-level football IQ and physicality. At 6’1”, 235 pounds, he fits the mold of the modern off-ball linebacker with enough versatility to cover, blitz, and plug gaps downhill. In 2024, he finished second on the team in tackles (76), added an interception, and allowed just a 7.1% missed tackle rate—ranking in the 94th percentile among linebackers. While he can improve his short-area fluidity and route anticipation in coverage, Allen has all the tools to become a three-down NFL starter. He projects best in a 4-2-5 or 3-3-5 base scheme where his ability to trigger quickly and play through contact can be maximized, especially in zone-heavy or pressure-based defenses.

A high-caliber prospect who is expected to become a significant contributor by Year 2. These players have outstanding physical tools and strong football IQ, with only minor flaws in their game.
