PLAYSTYLE & SCHEME FIT
Tyreak Sapp is a high-floor EDGE prospect who enters the 2025 season as one of the SEC’s most proven and disruptive defenders. Built like a hybrid 5-tech/EDGE, Sapp thrives in base 4-3 and 3-4 fronts with the ability to reduce inside or anchor as a strong-side DE. A former 4-star recruit with NFL bloodlines (nephew of Hall of Famer Warren Sapp), he brings violent hands, stout run defense, and the versatility to kick inside on passing downs. His production exploded in 2024, leading Florida in sacks (7) and TFLs (13) with a career-high 90.4 PFF grade. While he may lack elite first-step burst, his polished technique, play strength, and positional IQ make him a plug-and-play NFL contributor.
