CFB: Football Scout 365 2019 PAC 12 All Conference Team Selections and Player Of The Year

PAC 12 Player of The Year: Utah QB Tyler Huntley

Huntley ranks at the top nationally in passer rating (5th), boasting a 188.7 rating. He does not have the fanfare similar to the others in the top five pass rating nationally while playing at Utah, but he does have a shot to catapult his team into the spotlight if they can take care of business in the Pac12 title game.

Huntley has thrown for 2773 yds, 16 TD’s, and 2 INTs while rushing 74 times, 255 yds and 5 TDs. He has been accurate, completing 75% of his passes, including four games over 80%.

Huntley has been known to rely more on his legs once his number one read has been taken away. In 2019 he has worked to improve in this area of his game and needs to continue his improvement if he plans to play QB at the next level. He does have a decent arm and nice touch on deep-ball throws. If Utah can get into the CFB playoff by winning the PAC 12 this week, presenting Huntley with a chance to exhibit his athletic ability against top competition.
