Kalen King is best utilized as an Outside Man/Press Cornerback. He demonstrates a feisty competitive nature and does not give wide receivers an inch in coverage. He is a fleet-footed, quick-twitch cover man with excellent corrective quickness and mobility, making him highly effective in man coverage. However, his average size and sometimes uncontrolled movements at stems could be limiting factors against larger, more physical receivers. His style fits well with aggressive defensive schemes that rely on man coverage and require cornerbacks to support run defense.
