SCOUTING REPORT
Overall, Rice has late first-round potential. He must diversify his route tree at the NFL level. He has excellent route-running upside due to his suddenness in the open field and the ability to start and stop selling his routes using his entire body. His ability to play with strength attacking the catch point while boxing out defenders is what many will point to during the combine process, but he is also excellent with the ball in his hands and is a legit three-level threat.

PLAYSTYLE & SCHEME FIT
Rice's combination of size, speed, and versatility make him a promising receiver who could fit well in a variety of NFL offensive schemes. He has the potential to develop into a valuable weapon in the passing game, both as a deep threat and as a possession receiver. He can play outside or in the slot.
