Ahmad Gardner is a long and athletic DB who can win in man press or off coverage. His strength is zone coverage, where he can read and react. His versatility will be an asset at the NFL level. He is a high IQ player who does a great job with play recognition and reacting accordingly. He has good hands for a DB, and he is a sticky corner who does not give up much space to opposing receivers in coverage. The knock has been his lack of fluidity, but it's not something that affects his overall game, and it's a deficiency he can improve on over time.
