PLAYSTYLE & SCHEME FIT
Dennis-Sutton is a long, power-based edge defender with a pro-ready frame and strong early-down reliability. At 6’5”, 268 pounds with plus length and heavy hands, he consistently sets the edge, controls tight ends, and compresses run lanes with disciplined leverage and strength. His pass rush is built more on power, hand violence, and interior counters than burst or bend, as he lacks elite ankle flexibility to consistently corner and flatten at the top of the rush. While he flashes a smooth inside spin and strong long-arm bull, his rush can become linear and predictable against NFL-caliber tackles. Dennis-Sutton projects best as a base 4-3 defensive end or 5-tech in even or odd fronts, where his edge-setting ability and power profile allow him to contribute immediately as a three-down rotational piece with starting upside.
CEILING GRADE ANALYSIS
High-End Starter Potential (65-69)
A player expected to become a top-tier starter within their first few years. They possess strong physical tools and good technical skills but may have some limitations in their game. With development, they can reach near-elite levels and provide consistent impact at their position.
