PLAYSTYLE & SCHEME FIT

At 6-7 350lbs, Neal is an excellent athlete who combines strength with wingspan and excels as a run blocker. Neal has positional flexibility, having played both tackle spots at Alabama. Still, he will likely enter the NFL at RT, and once he is more comfortable and has improved his pass blocking skill set, he can transition to LT.

Neal provides an above-average ability to anchor defenders and good body control. To be an elite LT, Neal will need to improve his balance and body control and his ability to negate a defender's counter moves off the edge. Evan Neal possesses a massive body composition combined with a powerful playstyle and experience in a pro-style spread offense. His downhill style will instantly impact the run game at the next level.

CEILING GRADE ANALYSIS

Near Elite (70-74)
A high-caliber prospect who is expected to become a significant contributor by Year 2. These players have outstanding physical tools and strong football IQ, with only minor flaws in their game. They demonstrate consistency at a high level and project as future Pro Bowl-caliber players if properly developed.
