PLAYSTYLE & SCHEME FIT
Jacas is a power-based edge defender with high-level collegiate production and a frame built for early-down and sub-package impact. At 6’3”, 270 pounds, he wins primarily through speed-to-power conversion, short-area quickness, and inside counters when tackles overset. His ability to reduce his surface area, cross face, and convert momentum into pocket collapse makes him disruptive against both vertical and oversetting tackles. However, inconsistent pad level, average length, and subpar anchor versus down blocks limit his reliability as a true three-down edge. Jacas projects best as a 3-4 outside linebacker or strong-side defensive end in an even front where he can rush from varied alignments, stunt, and attack half-man relationships. Early in his career, he profiles as a rotational power rusher with starter upside in a pressure-oriented front.
CEILING GRADE ANALYSIS
High-End Starter Potential (65-69)
A player expected to become a top-tier starter within their first few years. They possess strong physical tools and good technical skills but may have some limitations in their game. With development, they can reach near-elite levels and provide consistent impact at their position.
