The Senior Bowl is pivotal in the NFL Draft process, marking the official start of NFL Combine-style events ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft. What is the Senior Bowl? The Reese's Senior Bowl is the premier bridge between college and pro football. The event features a mix of college standouts and potential NFL prospects, mainly those projected to be selected above the 5th round. The Senior Bowl focuses on showcasing America's best collegiate talent in Mobile for a week of exposure to the NFL community. When and Where? Date:  Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024 Time:  1 p.m. ET Location:  Hancock Whitney Stadium, University of South Alabama, Mobile, Alabama Broadcast:  NFL Network How are Players Selected? The selection process, spanning eight months, begins with compiling a list of returning starters and rising seniors. Phil Savage leads this effort, focusing on players meeting the physical requirements for professional football. This results in an initial 400-player watch list, followed by scouting trips and consultations within the NFL. Invitations are sent in stages, with the rosters finalized between the regular season and college bowl games. Eligibility Criteria For the first time, any underclassman granted eligibility for the 2024 NFL Draft can be invited. Previously, only fourth-year juniors who completed their degree before the Senior Bowl week were eligible.
